Kristin Cavallari’s dunzo.
The Uncommon James mogul and mom of three got even more honest than usual on a Wednesday episode of her viral podcast “Let’s Be Honest,” calling the Kardashian family and Scott Disick “manipulative.” But her remarks didn’t pass the smell test from everybody on the internet.
“If this is not the most manipulative text I’ve ever gotten, well, then I don’t know what is. Guys, this is classic textbook manipulation control,” Cavallari said in an expletive-filled rant during the episode, reading an alleged Instagram DM from Disick.
“Hey, it’s been such a long time. It’s crazy, kind of, crazy that our lives also ended up being kind of similar. I feel like it would be so good to see you and catch up and just talk about the stress and all the different things you got to go through with kids and changing your life around over and over,” Cavallari read.

The alleged DM continued: “Really miss you though and wish I would have reached out earlier. Just been so busy trying to be the best dad I can be. I don’t have time for much but trying to think about myself a little bit again or trying anyway. Hope to hear from you.”
Then, she called the DM “textbook manipulation,” explaining that she has talked critically of the Kardashians in recent weeks.
USA TODAY reached out to reps for Disick for comment.
Cavallari claimed that she had a falling out with Disick and Kourtney Kardashian when the pair of on-again, off-again exes were on a break and tabloid rumors surfaced that the “Laguna Beach” star was linked to Disick. But the episode had a range of reactions to Cavallari’s honestly policy this time.

In the comments of a TikTok video posted by TMZ that displays Cavallari’s remarks, fans had mixed feelings about what the Uncommon Beauty founder said.
“I feel like she’s losing it,” one fan wrote, while another said, “Without more of the back story, she sounds a little paranoid.” Another wrote, “That message wasn’t manipulative.”
“Is the manipulation in the room with us?” another TikTok commenter added. But on YouTube, Cavallari’s fans defended “The Hills” alum.
“How much do I love this girl? She is the most authentic celebrity/person in the universe! Keep keeping’ it real Kristin,” one commented wrote. Another fan added that “this is becoming my favorite podcast. Kristin giving the tea we all want.”
“Miss Mama is NOT holding back, and I am LOVING it!! I’ve been a fan since day 1 of Laguna… and I am OBSESSED with this podcast. Thank you, Kristin, for always keeping it real. This is the PERFECT pod to listen to when work is killing your spirit,” one user wrote.
